update: at 1 am et on the 19th, i was able to get in on the second account
it is now 10 pm et and it is still not working
just called at 5 pm et time playstation representative said that everyone will be on by 9 pm pt time which is 12 am et time.

i talked to sony at 11 am and they said the other account would be up in an hour, it is now 3 pm and it is still not up.
the first playstation website said that maintenance was to be from 8 am pt to 8 pm pt.
then they said via their twitter “though estimated to end at 8pm pt tonight, maintenance has been extended to tomorrow am…” on the 17th.
they then said via twitter again that “psn maintenance is requiring more time than expected, and is now expected to complete tonight…” on the 18th
